Change your thinking, change your future- part one

I struggle with my thoughts constantly. A lot of that has to do with my ongoing battle with anxiety and depression. It’s some thing I have to work on every day no matter how much I mess up. I figure the more aware I am of my thoughts, it shows I’m making progress. I’ve also been working on a lot of self development lately and came across some really inspiring light -bulb moments recently. A lot of times we just think our efforts, talents, education, opportunities or upbringing is what eventually steers us toward our accomplishments in life. But recently I realized that all of that can actually mean nothing without some sort of mindset attached to it. We often hear people talk about the question “what is your why” why do you do the things you do? For what and for whom? Asking yourself this should eventually lead you to your purpose. At least that’s the idea. But what if your current circumstances are not where it is that you want to be? Maybe you’ve accomplished a lot, maybe you haven’t but how you choose to make the most out of what you have in life, exactly where you are at, is what matters and that all starts in your mind. And what you really truly actually believe about yourself is so conducive to this. Because it all starts with you and that belief branches out toward those around you. Living each day with intention matters. Life is truly about serving others. Are there different things you need to start telling yourself today? Are there negative thoughts you need to no longer defeat you? Start today with changing your mindset, and continue to make it a priority in your life and watch how you grow in ways you didn’t think you could. What are thoughts you want to get rid of? Can you replace them with positive ones? What are some lies you have believed about yourself, your circumstances that need to change? If you’d like to share below please do!

Progress...not perfection

Keep going. You only fail when you give up. Do something today that you will thank yourself for tomorrow... and in the future. Take one day at a time. Write out your goals and the steps it takes to complete them. We all have to start somewhere.

Sometimes we simply have to begin. Do it, even if it’s not perfect, you are nervous and want to quit. Then again tomorrow. And believe in yourself. It’s ok to pick up where you left off too. And keep moving forward and then you’ll have progress, not perfection to look back on :) 💕💕 .

What is one small step you have completed today in order to prepare for tomorrow? In order to complete your goal? I’d love to know in the comments below!!! .

I also recommend praying over your business and asking God to guide you to make right decisions and take the right actions! When you put God first, it really makes a difference in your mindset and the way you achieve your goals.

Take care.

Allow me to introduce myself..

Allow me to introduce myself:

Hi! My name is Ana Jocelyn. I adore makeup, jewelry and chocolate. My favorite color is pink! I was born and raised in New England. (Connecticut to be exact) and I still think our winters are wayyy too long. I am married and I have a crazy cat named zuzu. I graduated 3 years ago with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

I deal with anxiety and depression daily. I’m still learning to love myself and where I am at in life all the time. Everyone knows that comparison kills confidence and really, who has time for that? I’d love to travel more and eventually work from home (or anywhere for that matter) and currently crushing goals in order to get there!

Food is always comforting to me but I’m looking to make healthier choices and eat less “bad stuff” and more “good stuff” this year more than ever. I’ll be 30 this year and I want to feel the best I’ve ever felt and dream bigger than I’ve ever dreamed. Jesus is my savior and I’m thankful (even when I forget to say it) for every single person God has brought into my life. I want to continue to grow, learn and be the best me I have to offer and believing that the best is yet to come. Join me on my journey!
How old will you be this year? 🎂 and what are 3 things you plan on accomplishing this year? 💕
I’d love to know in the comments below!!

Xo, Ana
